1. Check the appearance
The surface of the steel tape should not be uneven or deformed; the two sides of the tape must be smooth, and there should be no edges and burrs; the width of the tape should be uniform. The ruler hook should be kept at a right angle, and there should be no visual and visible deviation. The surface of the tape should be anti-corrosion coating, and it should be firm, smooth and clean, free of bubbles, peeling, wrinkles, corrosion, scratches and other defects.
The marking line of the steel tape should be uniform, clear, perpendicular to the edge of the ruler, and there should be no heavy or missing lines.
2. Measurement method
(1) Before measuring, check that the tape of the tape measure is stretched freely without jamming, and then wipe the ruler body and the workpiece with a dry cloth or cotton yarn.
(2) Measure the size. Hook one end of the surface to be measured with a ruler hook, slowly pull out the steel tape tape, close the tape to the object to be measured, and keep your eyes in balance with the scale surface of the tape.
Five, use and maintenance matters needing attention
(1) Wipe clean the tape of the steel tape.
(2) When loosening the tape of the steel tape, slowly retract it into the box.
(3) When pulling out the ruler tape, the speed should be slow and even, and no excessive force, stepping or bending should be allowed.
(4) Strictly submit for inspection in accordance with the periodic verification plan of measuring instruments, and can only be used after the verification is qualified.
